Giving Tuesday
Today is Giving Tuesday, a day designed to unleash the power of people to transform communities. We’d be honored if you chose to support our work to make every Massachusetts community a safe place where kids feel free to walk, run, bike, and roll.
To support our work, donate here
(We are an official 501(c)(3) charity, which makes any gift tax deductible!)
It has been nearly a year and a half since a truck hit and killed our Sidney. She should be enjoying first grade and getting ready for ski season. Instead, her legacy is fueling some incredible work, carried out by our 100% volunteer-run organization.
This year, we received the Sue Tucker Award for Community Service in recognition of the impact our work is having around the state.
In total, our programs have touched more than 2,000 families, and our advocacy has been featured on more than 100 media stories. In Andover, we’ve expanded 25 mph speed limit town wide, began the second phase of changes to Elm Square, and prioritized hundreds of road improvements through Complete Streets.
We have three big goals for next year:
Advance three pieces of life-saving legislation in Massachusetts - automated enforcement, implementing truck safety regulations related to the Act to Reduce Pedestrian Fatalities, and introduce new legislation to limit vehicle sizes
Build support for building safer communities with the country’s largest road safety rally in Boston, building on this year’s Ride for Your Life to attract more than 4,000 people
Open doors for 1,000 kids to love running through our kids running program, Sidney’s Rainbow Run race series, and free race entries to local races
Every penny you give goes directly to our programs, which we run in partnership with dozens of advocacy groups across the state.
Thank you for your continued support of our mission.
Eric, Mary Beth, and all of Sidney’s Rainbows
